Upcoming Classes

Hello everyone!

I thought I`d give a little update today about some of my

international classes this year. For now I can share two of them

and these are two amazing events in Belgium and Sweden...

and by accident both of them happened to be in October :-)

A Card Tutorial {Sizzix}

Hello everyone!

It`s Sunday and It`s time for my Sunday Sizzix project.
I`m here today to share with you

how I created a card using one of the new Thinlits die cuts as a base for a doily card.

SUPPLIES LIST:

{655268} Sizzix Big Shot Machine

INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 1:

As a base for your card prepare folded in two white cardstock with size 13 x 13 cm.

Place on top the Thinlits Doily Die...

Make sure that the doily die comes above the top folded part of the cardstock!

In this way the two doilies will be connected to each other!

This is what the result should be once it's ready.

STEP 2:

Use pattern paper to die-cut different embellishments for your card.

N.B. The ornate part of the Hanging Sign Die was cut twice 

- Once using pattern paper and once using white cardstock.

- Remove parts of both sides so they won't come out of the card

N.B. I didn`t use all the die-cuts you see on the photo below.

STEP 3:

Create your own background on front of the card by using a floral

stamp, embossing ink, embossing powder and ink (of your choice).

Add Liquid Pearls for decoration.

I left the back side of the card natural i.e. white.

STEP 4:

Decorate your card with the die-cuts.

Adhere by using not only glue but also foam squares

which will give a perfect dimension on your card.

STEP 5:

Die-cut the phrase "For  You" once using white cardstock

and once using black cardstock.

Use the black die-cut phrase as a shadow.

Canvas Projects {Imaginarium Designs & Webster's Pages}

Hello Everyone!

Today I`d love to share with you two of 

my last projects I created using totally awesome
chipboard from Imaginarium Designs and
gorgeous products from Webster's Pages. 

Yes, I love our chippies 

and I always have FUN creating with them!

Both my projects today are made on canvas and on each

canvas you`ll see my girl or my boy smiling.

 As a matter of fact this time my kiddos

requested I scrap them separately and at the same time...ha ha!

This wasn't a difficult task for sure - I had a blast!

Other Products I used:

{Damask} - 12 x 12 Art Stencil

The cute chipboard dress was painted with white paint twice -

just to be sure that it`s completely covered!

Puffy paint was added only on top and then decorated

with pattern paper, lace and resin (from Webster's Pages)

TIP:

Love the hearts chippie....I used part of it in previous projects

so I had over the "hearts' mask". 

What I did here was:

1. I applied generously :-) modelling paste to achieve more dimension.

2. Once it was dry I added puffy paint to make it fluffy :-)

3. My final touch was to adhere tiny fussy-cut flourish

And this is the final result...

I added the painted with Glimmer Glam "happiness" 

word 

I used the word "happiness" separately....

Once again the chipboard was treated with puffy paint

so it`d match my hearts.

The bigger butterfly was colored in with liquid paint.

The stunning "Anna Frame" was treated with a few

colors Glimmer Mist and a puffy paint border was added as a final touch.

And my second canvas ....

This is a photo of my son proudly showing his soccer "trophy"

 The photo was edited first black & white

 and after that I "splashed" colour only on the photo he`s

holding of his soccer team.

Here are a few close-ups for you...

I added slightly Glimmer Glam on the ball 

and added puffy paint.

The "Soccer" word was separated from the ball and the "curve".

And the ball itself was separated from the "curve".

Mixing Old & New Collections {Glitz Design}

Hello Everyone!

Today I`m sharing with you two layouts

where I mixed Old & New Glitz Design collections.

My first layout is a happy, fun layout where I scrapped photos of
my kids. I matched here different collections and I love
the fact that they work altogether so well!

I used different embellishments to decorate the photo.

The roses were part of the stickers. 

"Hello Handsome" and "Hello beautiful" words were stamped.

I stamped the chevron pattern on a separate sheet of paper.

Then I cut it out and used it as embellishment.

My second layout is not my usual color combination but I love the

"Stripe" pattern paper from "Uncharted Waters" collection 

and I decided to use it as a base for my layout.

The butterflies were stamped and cut out.

The "awesome" word was cut from one of the stickers.

The phrase "You can never have too much happy" is part of 

the "Chalkboard" pattern paper (Color Me Happy) collection. 

It was cut out carefully and then separated in parts so I can decorate 

part of the hand-stitched circle.

I also fussy cut flourishes from the pattern paper.
